PekiLine Dictionary - the personal learning tool
The light open-source desktop application to translate national word to English by the
Google dictionary.
- your translated words are stored to a local text file (XML) to a later learning
- translated words are grouped to chapters
- selected item can be opened to the Google Dictionary word page anywhere for detail information or to listen a pronunciation.
- you can modify all text information in your vocabulary as you like
- learning panel is available for the selected chapter
- selected chapter/items can be exported to the HTML report to a print
- native support of the code-page UTF-8 is implemented
- systray running support
- the core of application is based on a UJO Framework for a data management and table visualisation

Quick tutorial
- open the application and write an English word to learn.
- there is allowed to use a dash character to separate a translated word from the original English word to insert into table
- sort table by click to any column header
- open a selected word in the Google dictionary by a button Detail
- your data is saved continuously, while minimizing the window and at the application exit
- print marked words by button Report
- change a tab to Learning and click on a Create test button to start your vocabulary test
- if you are not sure about a button function, try to use a tooltip
- you can change a destination language by parameter Language on a tab Parameters in the application
- current release of the application is a beta so there is recommended to backup your personal date periodically
